DUS1 Data Center
Our servers are located in the state-of-the-art WIIT DUS1 data center in Düsseldorf, Germany. The facility is operated by the well-established WIIT AG, a trusted data center provider known for high standards in reliability, security, and infrastructure. The data center is ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certified, ensuring top-level standards in information security and quality management.
Sustainability & Energy Efficiency
Sustainability is a key focus at this data center: The facility uses energy-efficient cooling technologies, with a PUE (Power Usage Effectiveness) between 1.3 and 1.4, which is excellent by global standards. Upon request, servers can be powered using green energy from renewable sources.
Security & Access Control
Physical security is a top priority at this location. The data center features a multi-level access control system, which includes RFID badges, PIN codes, and biometric verification. A 24/7 on-site security team and continuous video surveillance ensure that the premises remain secure at all times. In case of fire, an early detection system (VESDA) and a gas-based extinguishing system (Argon) protect the infrastructure without damaging hardware.
Technical Infrastructure
The technical setup of the data center meets the highest industry requirements: The power supply is fully redundant, backed by uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) and diesel generators. Climate control systems with N+1 redundancy ensure optimal operating temperatures at all times. The infrastructure supports uptime levels exceeding 99.99%, providing a highly reliable environment for our DNS services.Optional DDoS protection is available to safeguard against cyberattacks.
