At Gentlent, we are pleased to announce the ongoing expansion of our peering network. By continuously establishing new connections with numerous peers, we are sustainably strengthening the performance, stability, and efficiency of our network infrastructure.

In recent weeks, we have expanded our connectivity to a variety of global exchange points and locations, including 4IXP, ONIX, and numerous BGP.Exchange sites worldwide, with key metropolitan connections in Amsterdam, Berlin, Bogotá, Frankfurt, London, Paris, São Paulo, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo, and many more. This extensive network enables us to connect with both small and medium-sized regional networks, significantly enhancing our reach and capacity. Consequently, we now operate with an aggregated capacity exceeding 30 Gbps across diverse Internet exchanges, providing high-speed, reliable data transfer. We are continuing our efforts to further increase our peering capacities.

Our new and upcoming peers include:

  • 4IXP (4b42 Internet Exchange Point)
  • BGP.Exchange: Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin, Bogotá, Chicago, Dallas, Frankfurt, Fremont, Hong Kong, Kansas, Kyiv, London, Los Angeles, Lyon, Miami, Paris, Rio de Janeiro, Rome, São Paulo, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo, Toronto, Zurich
  • ONIX (Ontario Internet Exchange)
  • DE-CIX Frankfurt (soon)
  • EVIX (soon)
  • NL-IX (soon)
  • And more...

Why expanding our peering ecosystem is vital

Improved data transmission: Direct routing paths minimize latency and improve data transfer performance. As a result, applications respond more quickly, and users enjoy a smoother and more seamless online experience.

High availability: Diverse connections create redundancy and ensure stable network availability – even in case of disruptions along certain paths. A robust peering network enables flexible traffic rerouting, guaranteeing uninterrupted operation during unexpected events.

Cost efficiency: Direct data exchange with partners reduces transit costs and allows us to continue offering competitive rates to our customers. Lower costs directly enhance competitiveness and free up resources for innovative solutions. At the same time, dependency on third-party networks and the complexity of traffic management are reduced.

Enhanced scalability: Our scalable infrastructure makes it easy to integrate new services and partners, handle even larger data volumes, and actively support business growth.

These initiatives are essential to meet the increasing demands of modern applications and digital services.

Our commitment to open interconnection

We maintain a transparent and open peering policy that fosters straightforward participation for new network partners. This strategy enables us to build a dynamic, future-proof, and sustainable network ecosystem – prepared for the interconnected world of tomorrow.

Whether you are a content provider, internet service provider, or enterprise organization, an extensive peering network provides access to enhanced connectivity, lower latency, and high reliability.
