We’re excited to announce the launch of our brand new Audit Log feature, now available to all users through their dashboard. Whether you're a seasoned IT professional or just beginning to explore the world of digital accountability, this feature is designed to give you clear, actionable insights into what’s happening within your account.

What Is an Audit Log?

If you're new to the concept, think of an Audit Log as a digital diary that records every important action taken on your account. It tracks things like logins, changes to settings, data updates, and more, so you always know who did what, when and how.

Why It Matters:

  • Transparency: You can see exactly what’s happening in your account
  • Security: Spot suspicious activity or unauthorized access
  • Accountability: Keep a record of changes for compliance or troubleshooting
  • Peace of Mind: Know that your data is being monitored and protected

Audit Logs are especially useful for teams, administrators and anyone managing sensitive data. They’re not just for emergencies, they’re a daily tool for staying informed and in control.

Where to find the Audit Logs on our Website

We’ve made it easy to access your Audit Logs directly from your dashboard:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. On the left-hand side, open the menu tab if it is not already open
  3. Click on the tab named Audit Logs above the sign out button
  4. You’ll see a full list of entries from the last 180 days
  5. To view detailed information about a specific entry, click the eye icon under the “Actions” column

Each log entry includes the timestamp, the action performed, the path where the action was performed and the IP-address or system that initiated it. Clicking the eye icon reveals even more detailed context like the ID-number of the specific Audit Log, the endpoint URL, the Client-ID that performed the action, the request- and responsebody, perfect for investigations or just satisfying your curiosity.

Built with Passion by Our Intern Team

This feature was lovingly built by us, the three interns: Simon, Till, and Daniel. Over the course of our internship, we collaborated to design, develop, and deploy this tool from scratch. We´re working together for a clean UI, secure backend logging, and intuitive user experience.

Our work reflects not only technical skill but a deep understanding of what users need to feel confident and secure in their digital environment. We couldn’t be prouder of what we have built.
